Magis is an Italian company founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza. The conceptual idea is guided by the aesthetic, ethical and poetic vision of the project that has made the brand a global point of reference for innovation and functional and technological development of design.
In 2004 Magis launched the Me too range, completely dedicated to children. Sparkling, practical, colourful and captivating, the Me too conceptually develops childhood without neglecting functionality and reconciling the needs of the child with the world of design.
Since 2006, the stool Puppy designed by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio has become part of the collection, enriching it. The puppy dog is created with the intent of arousing sweetness in children and being appreciated for its harmony by adults. In 2008, Eero Aarnio was recognized for his ingenuity. In fact, the Trioli chair was awarded the Compasso D'Oro.
In addition to the Mee Too range, for which numerous designers and experts in the pedagogical field have collaborated, other products have gained a significant place in the world of design: the Bombo stool by Stefano Giovannoni, the Steelwood Chair by Ronan & Erwan Bourollec, awarded with the Compasso d'Oro ADI 2011, while in 2014 the same recognition was assigned to the Spun chair, designed by Thomas Heatherwick.
Magis products have become part of the permanent collections of museums such as the MoMA in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
