Description
Joy Zanotta is a modular bookcase designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1989 and awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1991. Joy is part of the permanent collection of: the Fondazione Triennale Design Museum in Milan, the Fonds National d'Art Contemporain in Paris and the Museum of Art of Indianapolis. The Joy Zanotta bookcase recalls the circularity of a spiral staircase and is composed of a central cylinder in painted steel, around which 5 or 7 shelves are arranged which rotate 360° around the central element. Tops in medium density fiberboard with internal steel reinforcement corner element, scratch-resistant embossed paint in the colors talc, hemp, amaranth, espresso or black. Joint in black painted steel in the hemp, amaranth, espresso or black versions, or talc in the talc version. The cabinet is available in the five or seven shelf version. Joy Zanotta fits perfectly in both classic and contemporary environments and can be positioned on the wall, in the corner or even in the center of the room, as a bookcase, dividing element or as a wall unit, or even as a TV cabinet, cabinet in the bathroom or bedroom. It is functional and infinitely customizable, you can choose to combine one or more shelves to vary the size and shape of the furniture.
